Amsterdam Still Open to Tourists Lighting It Up

For those who were worried about next year's Netherlands law passing that would disable tourists from purchasing marijuana in the nations famous coffee shops: fear not. Amsterdam's mayor has announced that his police force will not enforce this law which stops roughly 2 million annual tourists who already visit the cities 200 "coffee shops"

AMSTERDAM, Dec 12 (Reuters) – Amsterdam military will turn a blind eye to foreigners shopping cannabis in a famous ‘coffee shops’ when a national anathema comes into force subsequent year, a city‘s mayor pronounced on Wednesday.

 

The mayor‘s comments put an finish to months of doubt over a anathema on unfamiliar visitors purchasing cannabis during a shops that was introduced this year by a Dutch national government coalition that has given collapsed.
