We all love fast cars and that is no exception in Turkey. But we all must remember to be careful while trying to see how fast we can go, and this was well demonstrated by an Istanbul driver who crashed his Ferrari 458 and totaled it. Fortunately he walked away without injury, but this incident could have easily been much worse.

Istanbul was the scene for a Ferrari 458 Italia crash weekend before last. This particular prancing horse lost control at high speed and hit a barrier and a light pole. Apparently, as a result of the accident, an iron bar became embedded into the windscreen.

The 26-year-old driver and his passenger walked away from the accident without injury. However, the Ferrari is a total wreck. Alcohol was ruled out as a cause for the accident, however, the Turkish authoities are still investigating.
