Nikolai Gogol Cultural Center Opens In Rome

The Nikolai Gogol Cultural Center has been completed and now opens its doors to the public in Rome. The Gogol Center, named after the great Russian writer, was initiated to popularize Russian Literature in Italy and will now host poetry readings and exhibitions of other arts.

The Nikolai Gogol Cultural Center opens in Rome on Saturday, a project that was earlier initiated by an international association which established a money prize named after the great Russian writer.

 

The goal of the Gogol Center is to popularize the Russian literature among Italians.

 

The center is expected to become a venue for poetry readings, music festivals and art exhibitions to be attended by masters of the arts from all across the world.
