January 13th will see Zubin Mehta take to the stage in Taipei as he leads the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in celebration of the New Year. With a program featuring some of the most recognizable names in musical history, including Johann Strauss II, Taipei is ready to usher in the New Year in style.

World-renowned conductor Zubin Mehta will lead the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in a New Year concert in Taipei on Jan. 13, the organizers said Wednesday.

The orchestra will perform music by Austrian composer Johann Strauss II at National Concert Hall in Taipei, under the baton of the 76-year-old Indian conductor.

The program includes popular Strauss waltzes such as Voices of Spring, Morning Journals and The Blue Danube.
