Dallas tower sold in auction

After Dallas’ Thanksgiving tower foreclosed it was recently auctioned and it was sold. The property was purchased by a California investor back in 2007 but was unable to keep the 50-story skyscraper from going under. Luckily the 31-year-old structure could be sold at an auction.

Thanksgiving Tower sold at foreclosure auction on Tuesday. 

Downtown Dallas’ landmark Thanksgiving Tower has been sold in a foreclosure.

Lender Berkadia Commercial Mortgage sold the 50-story skyscraper at Dallas County’s foreclosure auction on Tuesday.

The 31-year-old mirrored glass high-rise at 1601 Elm St. was owned by California investor Younan Properties, which bought the property in 2007.
