Fighting for what you want is always good but running for you want is way better. And the Race for Preservation of Historic Savannah Foundation is doing just that. Their running to keep their town that they love so much just the way it is and I think that’s great.

The Race for Preservation of Historic Savannah Foundation was a huge success.

For the first time since the race start several years ago, registration numbers exceeded 700 runners.

Runners and spectators braved rainy conditions Saturday to participate in the event. Runners signed up until 10 minutes prior to the 8 a.m. race time.

After the races, runners were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd and celebrated their success with refreshments.
