A consumer exhibition to remember, the Beeld Holiday Show presented a wide array of Johannesburg's cultural, infrastructural, and commercial exploits with a two-day show that brought out the best and brightest aspects of the Lightning City's impressive spread. The exhibition also marketed Johannesburg as a holiday destination of choice, a notion which may not have occurred to many potential travelers.

The Beeld Holiday Show is a consumer exhibition that showcases holiday destinations and activities, giving visitors the opportunity to view hundreds of options under one roof. Hundreds and hundreds of people flocked to the show during the two-day duration of the show, with many visiting the Johannesburg exhibition stand.

“Our diverse and vibrant city, with its full calendar of events and attractions, merits an extended stay, beyond business. Joburg boasts excellent air and transport access, infrastructure, a diverse accommodation offering, along with entertainment, nightlife, retail, arts, culture and heritage,” said JTC acting chief executive officer Phelisa Mangcu.
