Beijing and Shanghai have started a 72-hour visa-free stay policy, giving those that come from any of forty-five countries a chance to explore and enjoy, without spending a dime. China is full of wonders that can be taken in such as, walking through the Forbidden City, hiking up the Great Wall, and strolling in the Summer Palace.
Air China recently launched the "72-hour visa-free stay" excursion products in Beijing and Shanghai in cooperation with a few domestic travel operators. The products can give transfer passengers an opportunity to tour some of the most celebrated attractions of these two cities and appreciate the amazing Chinese culture.
Beijing and Shanghai started a 72-hour visa-free stay policy on January 1, 2013 for citizens from 45 countries who hold the visa of and an air ticket to a third country or region. In response to the policy, Air China and a number of domestic travel operators have jointly introduced innovative, custom one to three day excursions that cater to the needs of transfer passengers.
