Dubai's Zabeel Park Gets Chinese Touch

Dubai is a beautiful city full of amazing attractions, but the newly unveiled Guangzhou city monument in Zabeel Park takes the cake as one of the newest things to see in the city. Meant to underline the close relationship between the two cities, the monument comes after nearly 12 years of cooperation.

Khalid Ali Bin Zayed, Assistant Director General of Dubai Municipality for the international affairs and partnership sector with Diao Ellen, Deputy Secretary-General of the government of Guangzhou, have unveiled a monument to the city of Guangzhou in Zabeel Park.

The ceremony was attended by a number of officials from Dubai Municipality and the city of Guangzhou.

The monument is part of Dubai Municipality’s Sister and Twin Cities programme.

Khalid bin Zayed welcomed the Chinese delegation saying that this event is a firm new step in the journey of bilateral relations between the two cities.
