Overview
Built at the direction of King Alfonso XIII in 1912, The Westin Palace, Madrid was recently restored to its original splendor. Set near the Prado, notable museums and historic monuments, it was named to the Condé Nast Traveler Top Hotels List in 2006.
The magnificent building, highlighted by an enormous stained glass dome, has long been a center of Spanish society. Among the many amenities are meeting rooms, restaurants, and a newly renovated WestinWORKOUT® fitness center overlooking the city.
The 468 guest rooms and spacious suites have been updated with all modern conveniences and with the Westin Heavenly Bed® and Heavenly Bath®. Rooms are exquisitely decorated with antique furnishings and original mahogany and plaster details.
Accommodations
Deluxe Room
A marble entry foyer leads into our Deluxe Rooms, which feature elegant wall coverings and molded plaster accents. There are marble floors throughout as well as a spacious desk, cocktail table, armchair and reading lamp. The original mahogany wardrobes have been restored and adapted to accommodate a TV and other modern conveniences. Available with a queen or two twin beds.
Executive Suite
Spacious and elegantly appointed, our 17 Executive Suites are sized for an extended stay. The lounge features a large sofa, armchair, reading lamp and coffee table along with a large desk equipped with a comfortable chair and a fax machine/copier/printer. Bedrooms are furnished with a king, queen or two twin beds, desk and chair and television. Some rooms also have a dining area with seating for six.
Royal Suite
Our largest accommodation, the Royal Suite, is located on the top floor overlooking the Plaza Neptuno and its fountain. Elegant and comfortable, the suite includes two full bedrooms with individual dressing rooms and bathrooms. The master bath boasts a sauna and Jacuzzi, and there is a powder room for guests as well. The large lounge features a conversation grouping with sofa, table and plush chairs. A separate dining room seats eight and the library is equipped with a fax machine/photocopier/printer and television.

La Rotonda
Named for the stained glass dome that is the hotel?s visual signature, La Rotonda is renowned for its grand lunch buffet, featuring such delicacies as pickled quail salad and grilled sea bass. The Sunday Brunch is considered the best in town.
El Bar del Palace
Madrid's favorite venue, The Bar has a classic style and welcoming atmosphere that make it the perfect spot to enjoy some of the most famous cocktails in the city, prepared by the famed "Palace" Barmen.
