Florblanca for Costa Rica Excursions

Posted: Feb. 16th, 2007  |  By JustLuxe Team
Luxury Resort: Florblanca is an exclusive 11-suite retreat located in an idyllic tropical setting west of the Caribbean Islands in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. There are one- and two- bedroom villas in the hillside that offer guests ultimate remoteness and an opportunity to fully experience a tropical jungle and its eco-system. The open-air villas peek out from the wilderness as if Mother Nature herself built each one to blend harmoniously into the natural habitat.

However, there are sufficient luxury amenities to offer a very appealing balance. Full-spa services are extended to guests. Massage treatments include Swedish and Thai, deep tissue, hot stone, four hands, and couples. Patrons can be pampered at the spa, in-suite or at the beach. Several exfoliation and wrap process also are available. Open-air yoga classes are held daily too. By summer 2007, the resort's Jungle Spa facility is going to be expanded and offer even more services. Other amenities include free snorkel gear, long-soft surfboards, boogie boards and fins, and beach-cruiser and mountain bikes.

Basking about the Florblanca's waterfall pool is a non-strenuous affair, while deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, sailing, surfing, scuba diving and horseback riding on the beach are a few of the other activities to enjoy. For the adventurous thrill seekers hungry for a new adventure, swinging from zip wires from canopy to canopy throughout the lush jungle may sate the craving tidily. And speaking of hungry, Nectar is the resort's restaurant. Rest assured that exotic fresh fish are always among the specialties of the day.

The resort also offers Florblanca Excursions. These trips are exotic mini-vacations within a vacation, where guests take short flights on chartered jets and experience some of Costa Rica's most popular spots. Surf off the beach of Pavones, an area that is regarded as hallowed grounds by avid surfers. Go sports fishing at Quepos or tarpon-and-snook fishing at Rio Colorado. There is exotic bird watching at Corcovado National Park, or check out Volcán Poás National Park and see both the geothermal and the ecological attractions. Most excursions are one- or two-day trips.

There are numerous ways to enjoy Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, when staying at the Florblanca resort.
