Coastal Charm at Villa El Cid

Posted: Feb. 20th, 2007  |  By JustLuxe Team
Luxury Villa: Villa El Cid, a modern and spacious villa escape, is surrounded by cliffs and stunning views of the Mediterranean, the African coast and Gibraltar. Set in a private gated community in the south of Spain, just minutes from the picture-perfect coastal port of Puerto Banus, the villa directly overlooks the Flamingos Golf Club, one of three championship-quality golf courses in the region. Villa El Cid is by far the most spectacular property available in the entire Costa del Sol region.

The well-appointed villa contains eight generously sized bedrooms, each air-conditioned and unique in character and style. With three Jacuzzis, one of which is located on the roof terrace, total privacy is guaranteed. Surrounded by native palms and Spanish roses, a heated outdoor swimming pool is nearby to other active pursuits which including a tennis court, a professional putting green, a gym and sauna as well as an indoor heated pool. The house is contemporary luxury, is wheelchair friendly, and is equipped with a state-of-the-art personal protection system for the ultimate in privacy. Villa El Cid is also popular as a commercial film location and photo shoot backdrop, and is equipped with a space large enough to accommodate and entertain the biggest parties.

The villa is located in the resort town of Marbella, a village that provides the Costa del Sol region with its famous and super-rich visitors. Far from pretentious, Marbella hosts a variety of al fresco bars, gourmet restaurants, art galleries, designer boutiques, bars and bistros. Ten minutes south is the town of Estepona, a traditional Spanish seaside town that exudes authentic Andalucian charm. Its narrow labyrinthine streets, specialty craft shops and thriving fish market draws international crowds and locals alike. With the highest concentration of golf courses in all of Europe, the Costa del Sol region also distinctively features fifty golf courses between Malaga and Gibraltar, a golfer's dream.

The warmth of the locals and the blend of the Old World charm and New World conveniences may inspire you to move to the region permanently. Is it not enough that the sun shines three hundred and twenty day out of the year?
