Luxury Villas in Greece on the Market for Bargain Prices

Have you always dreamt of owning your own luxury beachfront villa in Athens, Mykonos, or Santorini, Greece? Well, it looks as if now you can with the current state of the Greek economy and its collapsing currency! Yay! According to German newspaper Der Tagessspiegel, luxury real estate brokers are seeing far more activity than they were a year ago. With the pro-European elections in late June, buyers are becoming confident in the Greek housing market, and since then brokers have been receiving 50 percent more inquiries than the first half of 2011. I guess there is a silver lining to ever dark cloud: this one coming in the form of hoards of world travelers with exquisite taste in real estate and the means (and smarts) to take advantage of these record low prices. Everyone wins (besides maybe the people of Greece, of course).
