The Old Post Office Pavilion, built in 1899 and restored as a shopping destination in 1978, offers a birds-eye view of Washington, DC from its 270 foot observation deck. The 10-story building is one of the most popular attractions in Washington, with its variety of retail stores, a large food court, and government offices.
