Washington Culture: Originally founded in 1944, the Washington Ballet is one of the premier dance organizations in the United States. The company consists of 18 world-class dancers as the ensemble core, with three understudies, performing six shows each year.
The performances feature both classical choreography and pop culture inspiration, as many of their shows are based on favorite works of modern literature. Their performance season runs from November through June annually. |
