Thursday Sector Laggards: Specialty Retail, Apparel Stores

In trading on Thursday, specialty retail shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.8%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Valuevision Media , off about 37.3% and shares of Marinemax off about 14.8% on the day.

Also lagging the market Thursday are apparel stores shares, down on the day by about 1.7% as a group, led down by Abercrombie & Fitch (nyse: ANF - news - people ) , trading lower by about 21.7% and Wet Seal (nasdaq: WTSLA - news - people ) , trading lower by about 17.8%.
