Thursday Sector Laggards: Precious Metals, Food Stocks

In trading on Thursday, precious metals shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.4%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Tanzanian Royalty Exploration , off about 35.1% and shares of Silver Standard Resources off about 21.6% on the day.

Also lagging the market Thursday are food shares, down on the day by about 0.6% as a group, led down by Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (nasdaq: GMCR - news - people ) , trading lower by about 36.2% and Coffee Holding , trading lower by about 10.1%.
