AMC Networks was upgraded today by Stifel Nicolaus from sell to hold. The company said Thursday that its third quarter net income rose 58 percent from a year earlier due to rising revenue from programming.

Shares are trading higher by over 7.6 percent.

Allegiant Travel (nasdaq: ALGT - news - people ) was upgraded today by Ticonderoga from neutral to buy with a $60 price target. The company recently reported higher passenger numbers and year over year revenue.

Shares are trading higher by over 3.6 percent.
