Authenticity comes in many forms, and American restaurants are often imitations of European eateries, La Voile, on the other hand, is an export directly from the south of France. The owners of the original restaurant in Cannes have brought their beautiful brasserie straight to Boston.

La Voile means ‘the sail’ in French, and it was sailing culture that united the ports, and now the culinary scenes of Cannes and Boston, when a sailor suggested moving the restaurant across the Atlantic. Fish is still imported from the Mediterranean, and the French influences are clearly evident throughout the entire menu
