The Tower of London, formally known as Her Majesty’s Royal Palace and Fortress, has served as both a prison and a palace throughout its history. Today the Tower is a World Heritage Site, attracting more than two million visitors a year from all over the world.

There are actually several towers on the building, which features three different wards inside, all walled within each other. The Tower now houses a museum with different exhibits located in different areas, including a spectacular display of the Royal Crown Jewels.
