Biscayne National Park is located just beyond the city of Miami and serves to protect the namesake bay. Within the bay are many scenic islands, one of which serves as the first in the chain that makes up the Florida Keys.

Popular activities in the park include touring the mangrove forests along the shores and scuba diving within the biologically-rich waters and reefs.
