On October 17, The Singular Patagonia, in Chile, will host the Chamber Orchestra of the Teatro Municipal de Santiago to present “Ecos del Vento”. This unique cultural event intends to bring together the local community and visitors alike through music in one of the world’s southernmost stages. Under the direction of Alejandra Urrutia, a prominent Chilean conductor, a program of 22 musicians will perform in the restored heritage halls of the former Bories cold-storage plant—now home to The Singular Patagonia, and a National Historic Monument. From the iconic Vicente Bianchi and Felix Mendelssohn to emerging artists like Darío Duarte and Mariela Paz Sánchez, they intend to blend international classics with Latin American voices.

The day will include two concerts, one in the morning dedicated to the educational community, inviting students from Leech Salesiana Monsignor. Followed by an evening performance open to the community and hotel guests. Both free of charge, as The Singular Hotels notes, “Culture, like nature, grows stronger when shared.
