The Grammys red carpet is known for being pretty hit or miss and last night was a perfect example of the power of a good (or bad) dress. Celebrities were either a total win or an absolute disaster—there was no in between. And sorry Taylor Swift, but you’ve made the worst-dressed list this season. That pink Versace Atelier number is doing you zero favors. Lady Gaga gave a great tribute to David Bowie in a custom Marc Jacobs gown, but unfortunately the ensemble was better suited for the stage than the red carpet. Zendaya decided this was the night to rock a mullet. Don’t ask.
Best New Artist winner Meghan Trainor killed in a floor-length Michael Costello gown and a new red-headed ‘do, and T Swift’s BFF Selena Gomez totally outdid herself in a sparkling, navy blue Calvin Klein dress. Kacey Musgraves decided to go a little experimental in an ombré, jewel-toned layered Armani Privé gown, but she made it work and it was one of the more unique but beautiful looks of the night.
