This November, select Angelenos were invited to La Maison Cointreau to learn about the iconic, French liqueur's 160 year history.  Continuing on from New York and Dallas, La Maison Cointreau made a stop in Los Angeles before moving on to San Francisco.  The Los Angeles event was held at downtown's Carondelet House, which was the perfect venue for guests to discover the true art of cocktail making, with its unique and elaborately styled rooms. 

Alfred Cointreau, a sixth-generation member of the Cointreau family and great-great-grandson of Edouard Cointreau, kicked of the event by recounting the history of the iconic, French brand and sharing recipes for the perfect Side Car and Devil's Own.  Gloved guests were allowed to peruse a rare collection of first-edition cocktail books in a small library before sipping on their choice of the two featured cocktails.

Guests were later escorted to an intimate dining area that was transformed into a bountiful, mixologist's paradise, complete with personal shakers, stirrers, muddlers, glasses, customizable ingredients and ample bottles Cointreau.  Corporate mixologist Kyle Ford gave instruction on how to concoct the perfect Cointreau centric beverage. 

Afterwards, everyone retired to a make-shift nightclub to enjoy an enchanting performance by chanteuse Nicole Renaud and glass player Jonny Rodgers.  The entertainment was the perfect finale for an unforgettable experience.
