It was a Native American headdress worn by supermodel Karlie Kloss that sparked outrage from viewers, leading to issued apologies from both the label and Kloss via social media expressing their regret for offending anyone. Furthermore, Victoria’s Secret has promised to remove the footage from its upcoming broadcast on December 4 on CBS. The controversy comes just days after ska band No Doubt removed its newest music video off YouTube, which got backlash from the Native American community who said the band’s cowboys-and Indians imagery mocked their culture.
