The award-winning signature restaurant, Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa blooms again as one of the finest dining venues in the Disney Parks and Southern California. Making its debut on February 6, 2026, the reimagined dining room, kitchen, bar, lounge and menus celebrate the restaurant’s 25-year legacy of elegant wine country cuisine paired with global influences.

Napa Rose Dining Room

The restaurant’s redesigned interior draws inspiration from California’s Arts and Crafts tradition and honors the history, people and nature of Napa Valley. Thoughtful art details reflect the colors and textures of the region, incorporating both natural and handcrafted materials.

A stunning chandelier in the main dining room is modeled after the historic Mission Vine with a branch-and-vine design and hanging glass bauble-like grapes. Towering wooden columns with metal bands evoke wine barrels and classic Craftsman architectural details. Arched ceiling detailing frames a beautiful mural that highlights the vineyards of Napa Valley.

Art on the wall near the entrance pays homage to artifacts collected from different wineries in California. In the main dining room, one wall showcases frames holding a sample of the terroir of the grape growing region.

Culinary Director of Signature Dining Andrew Sutton

Management and designers wanted to transform the restaurant into a balance of past and present. The space was designed to meet the needs of Chef Andrew Sutton, Culinary Director of Signature Dining at the Disneyland Resort. The open kitchen inspires creativity and is fun for guests to watch the rhythm and action take place.

Sutton’s relationship with Napa Rose spans its entire history, since the restaurant’s inception, rooted in California wines and cuisine. Twenty-five years later, he continues to lead the restaurant as it moves forward.

“Reopening Napa Rose feels deeply personal,” said Chef Andrew Sutton. “We took the time to do this thoughtfully – honoring the story of the space while allowing the restaurant to evolve into who we are today. We’re working at the strongest level we ever have, with a menu and wine program shaped by craftsmanship, seasonality, and a broader international perspective. Our focus has always been on cooking with intention and delivering a dining experience worthy of Napa Rose’s place in California’s culinary landscape.”

Forbes Travel Guide Four Star and Wine Spectator’s – Best of Award of Excellence plaques are displayed, touting the restaurant’s polished and attentive service. Day-to-day execution is led by Chef Clint Chin, Executive Chef of Napa Rose, whose classical French training brings precision and discipline to the kitchen. The dining experience is overseen by Napa Rose General Manager Jess Soman.

Stunning Bar and Lounge

Diners can drop in at their leisure based on seating availability for a crafted cocktail and decadent small bites served à la carte in the stunning new bar and lounge at Napa Rose.

The renovation of this area is cozy with intimate seating areas with additional warmth from a new flickering fireplace. It’s ideal for a relaxed evening of conversation and delicious culinary experiences. If the interior is full, there is also alfresco dining on a newly refreshed outdoor patio looking out to Disney’s California Adventure.

Luxury bites on the menu include steak tartare on brioche with caviar, luscious and creamy lobster in a pot with crisp toast slices, bone marrow custard, and the reimagined fan-favorite Smiling Tiger Salad.

Also in the bar and lounge area, guests will see some of Napa Rose’s 13,000 bottles and approximately 1,500 labels displayed behind glass. Under the direction of Wine Director Patrick Kirchen, the collection emphasizes depth, provenance and thoughtful curation, spanning California and the world’s most important wine regions, including France, Italy, and Germany. Napa Tech red and white wines can be ordered by the glass in three and five-ounce pours.
