As wellness, longevity and authentic connection continue to drive travel decisions in the 2026, many travelers are looking beyond typical spa menus and fitness studios. What they seek is movement with meaning, the luxury of time, and a chance to feel part of the place they’re visiting. Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach is leaning into that shift by creating experiences that connect guests to the local community and the rhythm of everyday life with a focus on one’s health.
To kick off the near year, they launched, Bali Invaders, a new Sunday community run created in partnership with JD Sport’s Indonesia. Open to guests, local running groups, solo travelers, and residents, the run brings the community together for a relaxed coastal route through Seminyak, giving visitors a glimpse of the island through a different lens. Led by coaches from Continuum Athletics, nearly 100 participants joined the first run, which ended with refreshments, raffles, and giveaways, bringing the community even closer together.

Bali Invaders is part of a wider focus at Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach, which is to slow down and pay attention to the small details which in turn reveal the true culture. The neighborhood is the soul of one’s story. Listen for the vendor’s first greeting and catch the scent of frangipani on the breeze. Watch the surfers claim the first waves and hear the espresso machine hiss to life in nearby cafés. There is a quiet confidence here – a local rhythm that knows exactly when the day truly begins.
