South Florida is well known for being a golfer’s paradise, providing year-round play, pristine courses, and spectacular views. Year after year, travelers flock to the Sunshine State for a chance to spend some much-needed leisure time on the links.
When it comes to vacationers, locals, corporate travelers, and sports enthusiasts, there is one standout property that offers something for everyone.

Located minutes away from the beaches and Miami International Airport, Trump National Doral Miami has been regarded as a golfer’s utopia not only for its legendary links but also for its top-notch hospitality, lavish accommodations, high-end dining, and world-class amenities.
For more than five decades, the property has hosted the PGA Tour, is also the four-time host of LIV Golf, and recently hosted the PGA Tour’s Cadillac Championship.

Since opening in 1962, the family-friendly property, which was renamed Trump National Doral Miami in 2012, has long been a preferred destination not only for celebrities and professional athletes, but also leisure travelers looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown Miami.
When you pull into the palm-tree lined drive that leads to the immaculately landscaped property with signature flag, clock, and fountain you know you have arrived somewhere special. The clubhouse where guests check in is the property’s crown jewel, adorned in Swarovski crystal chandeliers, exquisite artwork, and marble floors.

Offering four championship golf courses, including the legendary 18-hole Blue Monster, the stunning 800-acre property is where some of the biggest names in golf have enjoyed personal triumphs: Jack Nicklaus won twice here; Greg Norman three times, and Tiger Woods four.
Beyond the golf, sophisticated travelers love the opulent villa-style accommodations, ornate Spa suites, 48,000-square-foot Spa, four brand-new Har-Tru tennis courts, and luxurious Royal Palm Pool.

Offering 643 guest rooms, the property features an array of accommodations that include 14 deluxe suites, 27 premier suites, 48 spa suites, and two presidential suites.
The award-winning Trump National Doral Miami is constantly being recognized as not only one of the top resorts in Florida but one of the best properties in the entire country. Exemplary service and attention to every detail begins the moment you arrive when friendly valet attendants provide assistance with luggage and transport you by golf cart to your accommodation. Guest rooms and suites are nestled in villas named in honor of the sport’s most legendary players: think Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Ben Hogan, and Tiger Woods, to name a few.
We recommend a stay in a Premier King Room that boasts a king bed, custom mahogany furnishings, gold-leaf Spanish Revival details, and vintage photographs of golf legends lining the walls. The guest room has a lavish spa-inspired bathroom with Italian marble floors, along with a private lanai that opens onto serene garden views.

One of the best ways to relax and unwind after a day on the links, shopping, or exploring the property is with a visit to the golf haven’s award-winning Trump Spa.
Whether you are seeking a stress reliever with an indulgent 60-minute Neuromuscular Massage providing targeted relief with CBD oil, a hydrating 24-Carat Gold Ultimate Facial, a rejuvenating Diamond Rose Body Ritual, a relaxing Signature Pedicure, or a Contemporary Thai Massage incorporating stretching and pressure point techniques, the luxurious Trump Spa has an extensive selection of treatments available.
Be sure to arrive early to enjoy the spa’s amenities included with your treatment, which include everything from a cold plunge, hot tub, and sauna to a steam room and relaxation lounges.
Locals should note that when they book spa services of 50 minutes or more (excluding salon services), they are invited to enjoy complimentary parking at the spa on the day of their appointment, along with access to the resort’s fitness center, group fitness classes, and the Royal Palm Pool.

After a day at the spa, head over to the pool, reserve one of 18 private cabanas, and order up some light bites from Palm Grill (we recommend their jumbo shrimp cocktail and chicken quesadillas) to nosh on poolside paired up with a bucket of local craft brews.
When it comes to dinner, this resort offers many reasons to stay on property. Whether you are looking for premier dining or more casual fare, they have got every appetite covered here.

The local’s favorite, Champions Bar & Grill, is ideal for a relaxed meal after a day on the links.
Casual fare at this pub-style eatery includes shareables like honey baked brie, prosciutto and Manchego croquettes, braised short rib sliders, and Buffalo wings served with creamy blue cheese or ranch sauce for dipping.
Heartier dishes include their signature Trump burger, pan-roasted salmon, steak frites, and quinoa stir fry. The declared winner of the table, a rich Bolognese, was made with a flavorful ground beef sauce topped with “parmesan snow.”
A fork-tender beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a side of truffle mashed potatoes topped with a savory wild mushroom demi.

If you are looking for a high-end dining experience, be sure to make a reservation at BLT Prime.
The standout restaurant is not only known for its contemporary vibe, high-quality dry-aged steaks, and craft cocktails, but its impeccable service and world-class wine list.
Welcoming servers present diners with their signature warm popovers to get them started. The restaurant offers an exceptional raw bar selection that includes colossal shrimp cocktail, a half-pound Maine lobster served with a side of spicy cocktail sauce, oysters on the half shell, and our favorite, tuna tartare, a generous and beautifully presented portion of ahi tuna with soy lime dressing served atop fresh avocado.
The steakhouse offers USDA Prime and 100 percent naturally raised certified Black Angus beef. Choose from a 22-ounce, bone-in cowboy ribeye and 10-ounce filet mignon to an Australian Wagyu skirt steak and 36-ounce porterhouse for two.
A tender and juicy 14-ounce aged Angus New York strip was cooked to our medium-rare liking. Because the steaks here are served a la carte, side dishes are generously portioned and meant to be shared. Choose from grilled asparagus, creamed spinach, Hen of the Woods mushrooms, truffled mashed potatoes, haricot vert with gremolata butter, or an enormous “fully loaded” baked potato, which is worth every overindulgent calorie.
Other signature dishes include a melt-in-your-mouth sauteed Dover sole topped with a decadent soy-caper brown butter, a pine nut-encrusted rack of lamb, grilled jumbo shrimp topped with basil oil, and roasted chicken with preserved lemon.
There is also a nice selection of Italian specialties, including wild mushroom risotto, eggplant parmesan, fettucine alfredo, and salmon oreganata with lemon caper olive oil, oregano crumb, and sautéed spinach.

Before retiring to your room, head over to the newly renovated lobby lounge known as The Living Room for a nightcap of a craft cocktail, glass of champagne, or espresso martini. Keep an eye out for live music held here Thursdays through Sundays at 8 p.m.
For the ultimate indulgence, the property recently unveiled an “Experience Salon Dinner Series” pairing up fine spirits with curated cuisine.
Past events include a rose and champagne soiree, a Dalmore port cask collection dinner, and a Glenfiddich x Aston Martin F1 Showcase. Private tastings designed for whiskey and bourbon connoisseurs are also available.

Each morning, a bountiful breakfast buffet is served in BLT Prime where the bar area is transformed into a lavish spread of fresh options.
From pastries, muffins, croissants, bagels, and breads to freshly made quiche, French-style yogurt, breakfast meats, and made-to-order eggs, there is something for every appetite here.

If you are planning on bringing your four-legged friend, the pet-welcoming property offers an array of amenities for them to enjoy during your stay.
From treats, water bottles, and toys to food bowls, cleanup bags, and even a signature Trump bandana and Trump Hotel dog tent, the property rolls out the red carpet to make their stay even more memorable. Jogging trails and bike rentals are also available at the resort for a fun afternoon of exercise.
For a quick excursion off property, be sure to take time out for a visit to the nearby Trails & Tails Park in Doral.
The popular 8-acre facility, which was recently named Best Dog Park in Miami New Times’ Best of Miami 2025, features separate gated areas for small and large dogs, walking paths, exercise and water stations, shaded seating, a dog wash station, and plenty of room to play.
Trump National Doral Miami is located at 4400 N.W. 87th Avenue in Miami, Florida.
