The Atlanta Botanical Garden sits on 30 acres of land in midtown. Founded in 1976, the gardens feature a variety of exhibits, including the iconic Canopy Walk, which takes visitors on a 600-foot-long stroll through the treetops.

The garden specializes in orchids, and the Fuqua Center has the largest collection in the states. These rare and fragrant specimens are on display year-round, and in the winter the center holds a special exhibit called Orchid Daze
