The Aquarium of the Americas is located near the historic French Quarter of New Orleans, and is widely regarded as one of the country’s finest. The aquarium has 10,000 animals on display representing 530 species from the waters surrounding both North and South America.
Their Caribbean Reef exhibit features a stunning glass tunnel for visitors to walk through and experience sharks and clownfish. The Amazon exhibit along the Mississippi River boasts a habitat for piranhas and an anaconda.
