Boston Public Garden

Established in 1837 by Horace Gray, Boston Public Garden is 24 acres of lush green botany in the heart of Boston. One of the best Boston attractions, the gardens have inspired many great American poets and writers, making appearances in their works from time to time.

The gardens are part of the Emerald Necklace, a chain of parks which include the Boston Common, designed by famous American Landscape Architect Frederick Law Olmsted. Within the gardens are several sculptures, buildings, and bridges.
