Los Angeles’ Chinatown today is in its second location, after being displaced by the construction of Union Station. It is known as a thriving commercial center for Chinese and other Asian businesses in and is filled with specialized restaurants, shops and art galleries.

LA’s Chinatown is so authentic that many times when Hollywood productions need to be set in China, they save on costs by coming here to use the traditional buildings as their backdrop.
