The Goya Foods’ Grand Tasting Village at SOBEWFF is the ultimate culinary playground with over 135,000 sq. ft. of open-air tent sampling space, more than 45 restaurants, and 1,200+ products to taste, this epicurean extravaganza is basically Disneyland for foodies. All proceeds benefit Florida International University’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, helping shape the next generation of chefs, restaurateurs, and food entrepreneurs. To date, the SOBEWFF has reportedly raised more than $40 million in support of its educational mission “to provide an invaluable real-world experience and an interactive educational platform for future leaders of the hospitality industry.” Additionally, between SOBEWFF and its sister NYCWFF, more than $53 million has reportedly been raised to benefit the respective charities of each fest.
