Now that winter is FINALLY over here in Boston, we were looking to get away just for a night to escape the dreary winter doldrums. If you are like us and need a quick weekend getaway, Mirbeau Inn & Spa has just what you are looking for.

There are just 50 rooms here at this French country manor so the setting is quite intimate. Be sure to request a stay in one of the Turret Suites, a gorgeous blue room with cathedral ceiling, gas fireplace and Juliette balcony. We loved the massive bathroom that features a spacious walk-in shower and separate claw foot soaking tub.
There are two properties where guests may stay – the Manor House and main Guest House (located above the on-site spa), whichoverlookthe Monet pond garden or the Village Green.
For dinner, be sure to book a reservation in advance at the upscale Henri-Marie, which features French-inspired cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Stephen Coe or the more casual Bistro & Wine Bar that also has an outside terrace for al fresco dining in the warmer months.
