Women are becoming more empowered every day and that is a beautiful thing. Their struggle for emancipation was long and it’s still ongoing today. Science is one of those areas where women had to fight very hard to be seen as equals. That is why today, they contribute immensely to science and scientific research around the world. It seems that science and education benefit the most out of this diversity as we can feel immense progress in our everyday lives, fueled by tech or science innovations.

It is always refreshing to hear new opinions in science debates. They open new possibilities, offer better solutions, and create new mindsets. When it comes to innovation and scientific studying, gender diversity is more than welcomed. Men have dominated science for centuries with their strict approach. Since they are highly motivated and goal orientated, they make valuable team members. They are integrals of diverse science projects that need some fresh blood and perspective. Modern challenges in science cannot be phantom without the role of gender diversity needed for their decoding. Men still have their role to play but it is a role of equal team members who contribute their share of knowledge.

Supporting gender diversity in science is a way to go if we dream about a better tomorrow for ourselves. Most teachers or college students already support these notions completely. They witness firsthand the benefits of diverse study groups or school projects that adopt the diversity principle. These learning projects show better results, more mutual understanding, or outside-the-box thinking. There are no predetermined formulas for successful research but it is more than clear that gender diversity is one crucial ingredient. We must dissolve all gender prejudices that hold us back and accept that we can achieve so much more together. Sometimes, ladies should just take the lead and do what they do best, which is to tell us men what to do.
