Don't even bother inviting Taylor Swift to your next pool party unless you have a few giant white pool swans floating around.
Last year, inflatable pool swans became the hottest celebrity summer accessory since the sunglasses. Following Taylor Swift's 4th of July pool party, her it-girl squad posted a full-blown Instagram photoshoot showcasing in just how many ways you can lounge on a giant white swan. And not just white swans, but also golden swans, pink flamingos and colorful pegasi helped turn pool parties around the world into picture-perfect, Instagram-worthy celebrations.

Funboy has recruited two artists to design limited-edition floats just in time for Coachella and the 2016 summertime pool season. Using the original Funboy swan as a blank canvas, these artists have reimagined the pool toy as a one-of-a-kind artwork, making it even more eye-grabbing. It's a fun collaboration that totally reminds us of when Absolut Vodka asked Andy Warhol, Keith Haring and Damien Hirst to redesigned their iconic bottles of booze.
"We’re always inspired by the flare and creativity that festival goers display and wanted to contribute something new and novel to the cultural zeitgeist that Coachella represents,” Funboy co-founder Raquel Barrett said about these artists collaborations.
The first artist to create a unique swan for Funboy was Miami-based Alex Yanes, who designed a loud, bold float with an almost-cartoonish look. It's quintessentially Miami – tropical and fun-loving but still totally rock n' roll and irreverent. Yanes is well-respected in the Miami art scene for his 3D pop-art pieces made from wood, acrylic and resin. Prior to Funboy, the artist created installations for Adidas, Neiman Marcus and Rag & Bone. He even was responsible for building the custom DJ booth inside Miami's LIV Nightclub.
"I love taking artwork and making it three-dimensional, so the idea of creating a custom swan float for Funboy, a brand I love, really excited me," Yanes said.
Funboy also collaborated with Venice-based Kelcey Fisher, known artistically as KFish, who designed a swan that is the epitome of California cool. The green-and-purple creation captures that barefoot elegance associated with stylish poolside soirees and still manages to make a fashion statement. KFish has gained a reputation for his L.A. murals that incorporate street art with portraiture and are reminiscent of Keith Haring's most iconic work.
