Dinner and a movie define the perfect date night out. This winter, The Culver Hotel is offering a special package for Valentine’s Day, a special night with your significant other, or just to enjoy a night out with Feast & Film, an experience that pairs a three-course dinner with a classic movie screening.
Located in the heart of downtown Culver City, The Culver Hotel has been a cinematic landmark since 1924. Built by city founder Harry Culver, the stately red-brick hotel quickly became a gathering place for film legends. Icons like Charlie Chaplin, Clark Gable, Greta Garbo, and John Wayne were frequent guests, lending the hotel an enduring mystique that still lingers in its arched windows, grand staircases, and intimate lounges.

That sense of history sets the stage for Feast & Film, an evening designed to feel indulgent and effortless. The experience begins with a three-course prix fixe dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, where classic comfort meets Renaissance Revival style. Guests may start with a crisp Little Gem Caesar Salad or a slow-simmered French Onion Soup before choosing between Chicken Piccata finished with lemon and capers or the hotel’s signature Spicy Rigatoni. The Molten Chocolate Fondant is a decadent ending to a delicious meal.

Dining concludes just steps from the movie theater. Guests cross the hotel courtyard to The Culver Theater, an art deco–inspired cinema. Diners may attend any screening between 5:00 and 10:00 p.m., choosing to watch the film before or after dinner.

Priced at $65 per person, Feast & Film is offered nightly and includes both the three-course dinner and movie tickets, with reservations available through OpenTable. It’s a perfect, easy way to enjoy an evening out at a hotel that has played host to Hollywood’s storytellers for more than a century.
