Identify the problem. Some people don’t realize that the problem they are feeling is that of feeling “stuck” in their life. They may realize they feel stressed out, overworked, underpaid, and wonder if this is all there is to life. They may question owning a business. When they can identify that the problem is that they feel stuck, then they will be ready to start moving forward.
Consider the options. Sit down and make a list of what it is that you would like to accomplish in your business if there was nothing holding you back. Forget the excuses that pop up in your mind, and instead really ask yourself what it is that you want. This is the time to get specific about what you want.
Choose a direction. Once you have the options listed of what you would like out of your business growth or yearly salary, choose a specific direction. This is the point where you will narrow down exactly what your goal will be, so you have the direction in mind. You can’t achieve success at something if you can’t identify what that something is.
Make the commitment. Feeling stuck is one of the worse feelings. It will bring your confidence level down and hold you back. It will make you consider closing your business and walking away. Make the commitment to yourself that you will do what it takes to make your goal a reality. You have to have the commitment to achieve in order for it to become a reality.
Take action. Get the tools, education and motivation you need in order to take your plan and make it happen. Whether you work with a personal coach, attend a seminar, or read a powerful book, do something in order to take action and learn what you need to do to get to where you want to be.
