Beauty routines are often the first thing to change when traveling. Familiar products are left behind, routines are streamlined, and “getting ready” somewhere new can be challenging. The Ritz-Carlton hopes to make things easier via its new partnership with MERIT Beauty.
The collaboration marks MERIT’s first hospitality partnership and introduces a series of beauty-focused offerings at select Ritz-Carlton properties across North America. Guests can discover MERIT products through Club Lounge activations, in-room beauty services, limited-edition travel kits, and unexpected touches woven throughout the stay.

Participating hotels include The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto; The Ritz-Carlton Bacara, Santa Barbara; The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas; The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C.; The Ritz-Carlton, Naples; The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles; and The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad beginning September 10.
Founded in 2021, MERIT built its reputation around a more edited approach to beauty. Rather than an overflowing makeup collection, the brand focuses on versatile essentials designed for everyday use. That philosophy aligns with the way many luxury travelers approach packing today: fewer items, carefully chosen.
At participating Ritz-Carlton Club Lounges, guests can explore MERIT products through dedicated beauty carts stocked with favorites including Great Skin Serum, Great Skin Double Cleanse, Clean Volume Mascara, and Flush Balm. Select locations will also welcome MERIT beauty educators, offering guests personalized product recommendations and the opportunity to experience the collection firsthand.

The partnership continues in guestrooms with curated MERIT beauty bundles available through in-room dining. Presented in a custom co-branded pouch, the collection includes travel-friendly versions of the brand’s signature products, creating an effortless beauty routine without the need to unpack an entire cosmetic bag.
For guests who want to take the experience home, the limited-edition MERIT travel kit features Great Skin Serum, Great Skin Double Cleanse, Clean Volume Mascara, and Flush Balm in Postmodern, along with a custom pouch and exclusive keychain. The kit is available during stays and through MERIT’s website.

The collaboration also appears in smaller moments throughout the guest experience. Select properties will offer turndown amenities featuring MERIT skincare samples and chocolates, while the “Minimalist Martini” pairs a signature cocktail with a sample of MERIT’s Retrospect fragrance.
“MERIT creates products that are meant to live with you, especially when you’re on the go,” said Aila Morin, Chief Marketing Officer of MERIT Beauty. “Partnering in the hospitality space is a natural step for us.”
The Ritz-Carlton has long built its reputation around service that anticipates guest preferences. With MERIT, the brand expands that philosophy into a category that is personal: the beauty rituals travelers bring with them, adapt while away, and continue long after returning home.
