Anthony Franco S/S 2012 Collection from Los Angeles Fashion Week

Anthony Franco is a self-taught designer born and bred in Los Angeles with a unique flair for fashion. For his Spring/Summer 2012 collection, debuted at Los Angeles Fashion Week, Franco drew from the inspiration he got seeing the stunning sunsets of Zihuatanejo, Mexico.

Often utilizing a compact color palette in his designs, Franco's vision of Spring/Summer 2012 is a bright array of sunset tones, with vibrant shades of orange, yellow and pink showcasing his understanding of a stunning getaway. To help enrich the colors with different fabrics, Franco used knit, silk and wool cashmere combined with bamboo, which would all be perfect pieces to take on a luxurious beach vacation once the weather turns warm again.

Designer Anthony Franco doubles as a stylist, with an impressive cadre of work from commercials like Dr. Pepper, Skechers and Samsonite to movies, including Catch Me if You Can, 50 First Dates and, Soul Plane. So it's no wonder that his clothing line draws a wide following from Hollywood, and not just the from the four years he spent dressing the eclectic Andre 3000 of OutKast.

Celebrity fans of Anthony Franco include Ashley Greene, Kourtney Kardashian, Amanda Righetti, True Blood's Deborah Ann Woll, Selena Gomez, Kate Bosworth and others. His designs have been featured in magazines like Esquire and on numerous red carpets. For more about the designer and his beautiful line, visit AnthonyFrancoDesigns.squarespace.com.
