For the highly sought-after shoe designer Tabitha Simmons, imagination is key. Born in England, this luxury designer currently resides in Manhattan’s Chelsea. After studying film at Kingston University, she decided to continue on the path of creativity by modeling as well as starting her own styling career.
This model turned footwear designer and Vogue contributor (she also is a regular contributor to Dazed and Confused and Another Magazine… talk about doing it all) first unveiled her flirty and chic collection in 2009. Tabitha’s clear vision, obvious knack for fashion and signature directional style gave her a line that was instantly adored by industry leaders and fashionistas alike. Each pair of her luxurious shoes are handmade in Italy and feature hidden platforms and intricate detailing.
A favorite among Hollywood’s hottest, including Chalize Theron, Sienna Miller, Cameron Diaz and Keira Knightly, her line features and assortment of quirky prints, all the while maintaining undisputed elegance and grace. The Bailey shoe has been reworked time and time again because of its exciting prints that work perfectly alongside delicate ankle straps and sweet buckles – creating a look that is refined, yet playful.
Another signature piece that you can find in the collection is the Beatles boot. This beautiful little bootie can be worn with anything – whether it is a pretty floral dress in the spring or dark denim jeans in the fall. This Gothic boot style features a modern zip along with three buckles made of nickel.
Simmons also has been known to collaborate with photographers such as Craig McDean, Glen Luchford and Steven Klein as well as fashion designers Calvin Klein, Alexander McQueen and Zac Posen (for whom she has styled runway shows.)

Tabitha Simmons was also runner up at this past 2012 CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund awards, only further confirming her talent in the fashion world.
