Meet Invity: How This Science-Backed Brand is Redefining The Way We Age

C/O Invity

Meet Invity, a science-backed skincare and supplement brand that’s making premium, cutting-edge, anti-aging products accessible to the masses.

Unlike other anti-aging brands in the market, Invity believes that there is more to skincare than slapping on creams to keep your skin hydrated. As a science-backed research company,Invity has been able to formulate products that not only work, but work on a cellular level. With vegan, clean and cruelty-free formulations, Invity is doing what we once thought impossible - pressing pause on the way we age.

I had the pleasure of catching up with Invity’s Chief Operating Officer, Ajish Morris who's giving us the inside scoop on the brand and how they are redefining what it means to age through their scientific research.

Can you share some information on Invity and its brand mission with our readers?

Ajish Morris (AM):As a premium science-based longevity brand, our goal is to redefine what it means to age. Through our scientifically-led research and discoveries, we have unlocked profound technologies that address aging at its core: the activation of essential metabolic pathways in human cells. When these pathways are triggered, they recharge, revitalize and repair human cells, boosting health span by leaps and bounds.

Over the past several years we’ve seen a rise in science-backed skincare. Can you share the importance for consumers to make the switch to skincare with science proven formulas?

AM:Unlike typical anti-ageing skincare brands, Invity prioritizes scientific research and results. With that, we want to challenge the expectations of at-home skincare with our technology. Using epigenetics science, our scientists develop products like a detective solving a case. We invest heavily in R&D and have built an extensive library of ingredients and molecules to help us understand skin science better.

Our core research team comprises scientists in diverse fields of human biology and chemistry. By truly understanding what really happens to our skin on a cellular level, we are able to reverse engineer solutions to duplicate in-vitro results to the human skin.

Consumers expect results, and that is what we aim to deliver. Our ingredients and formulations are repeatedly tested both in our labs and on human volunteers to ensure that they deliver measurable results and visible changes to the skin. Our products are also designed to stretch the limits of what skincare can do, without going under the knife.

Can you explain more about Invity's vertical integration research approach?

AM:As a vertically integrated longevity science-backed research company, it is important for us to implement visibility and transparency in all of our processes. Our in-house research team works independently and in collaboration with our network of scientists and physicians globally to lead science-led discoveries.

These discoveries are then transformed into product concepts at our in-house formulation laboratory. Once these product ideas are tested, stabilized and validated for efficacy, we manufacture them at our GMP-certified manufacturing facility. Every aspect of production, whether it is in our in-house laboratories or manufacturing facilities, is met with rigorous testing, evaluation and strict quality control to ensure the safety and efficacy of all our products.

The main benefit of being vertically integrated, with our own R&D and manufacturing facilities, is that we are able to go from research to product in a very short time, so our customers can experience the latest technologies and discoveries in longevity science.

If you were to suggest investing in one product from the lineup, which would you recommend?

AM: The Invity Youth Activating Instant Filler is an anti-ageing innovation that has been well received by customers worldwide. The product uses a non-invasive application that can mimic the effects of Botox and fillers - skin lifting effects. It is designed to have an instantaneous lifting effect for fine lines that is accompanied with long-term benefits. Studies have shown that our Instant Filler can help reduce wrinkles by up to 80% in 28 days.

As a result, Invity has also gained international recognition from global media houses such as Daily Mail, Well+Good, and StyleCaster, and was also one of the Top 20 shortlisted brands according to the annual Cosmotrends 2022 report. The Youth Activating Instant Filler was crowned the Silver Winner at 2022 Global Green Beauty Awards.

What’s next for the brand?

AM: We are in the midst of completing our clinical studies for a full lineup of products which will be released over the next two quarters. We are very excited about our next product launch, the Youth Activating Invisible Mineral Sunscreen, which is a broad spectrum SPF50 & PA+++ 100% mineral lightweight and fast absorbing sunscreen. At the same time, our lab is working on a proprietary delivery system that will be combined with AI technology to revolutionize how we use and view skincare.

Would you like to share anything else?

AM: We view research as a community effort and our network of global scientists develop products that are backed by science and is scientifically proven. We are committed to creating products that are socially, economically and ecologically responsible. We are also users and advocates of our products, so we expect the best, replicable efficacy for every formula and ingredient. It is important for us to implement visibility and transparency in all of our processes. Every aspect of production, whether it’s in our in-house laboratories or manufacturing facilities, is met with strict quality control to ensure the safety and efficacy of all our products. This guarantees that the highest standards of safety and quality are met - from the initial stages of research all the way to when our products reach our customers.
