In a city where art and haute couture have long shared the same rarefied air, a new collaboration is quietly redefining the dialogue between sculpture and high jewelry. This week in Paris, Beverly Hills jeweler Martin Katz and Tuscan sculptor Andrea Roggi unveil Energia della Vita, an intimate limited-edition series presented at Galeries Bartoux in conjunction with Roggi’s first Paris retrospective, 50 Years of Creation (February 13–March 8, 2026).

The new series marks a refined evolution of a monumental artistic encounter, one that began in Florence and now finds a luminous new expression in Paris.

From Monument to Microcosm

The story of Energia della Vita began in 2023 within the storied walls of the Palazzo Vecchio, where Roggi’s monumental bronze sculpture was unveiled in the historic Salone dei Cinquecento. Crowned with a radiant, jeweled sphere conceived by Katz, the work symbolized the transmission of life-force energy from earth to sky, from form to light.

That original sphere, crafted in 18-karat white gold, required two months of meticulous workmanship and nearly 2,000 precious stones secured by more than 8,000 setting points. Blue sapphires, Paraíba tourmalines, tsavorite garnets, and white diamonds shimmered atop Roggi’s bronze, creating a dialogue between material weight and celestial brilliance.

In 2025, the monumental sculpture traveled to Paris, where it was exhibited at the iconic HĂ´tel de Crillon, serving as a poetic convergence of Italian artistry and Beverly Hills refinement.

Now, in 2026, that grand gesture has been distilled into something more intimate, yet no less powerful.

The Sphere as Living Energy

Presented exclusively at Galeries Bartoux during the retrospective, the new limited-edition series translates Roggi’s philosophy of vital energy into a sculptural jewel: a series of exquisitely handcrafted spheres, each conceived as a microcosm of cosmic force.

Meticulously formed in 28 grams of gold, every sphere is set with 87 diamonds (0.54 carats total weight), DEF color, and VVS clarity, responsibly sourced from South Africa through DTC Botswana. Surrounding this luminous foundation are 281 colored gemstones (22.99 carats total weight), including blue, violet-blue, violet-pink, pink, orange, and yellow sapphires, as well as topaz and aquamarine.

The composition unfolds like the sky itself.

Soft pinks and blues evoke the fragile poetry of dawn. Luminous midday blues deepen toward amber and gold, before dissolving into the orange-red warmth of sunset. Finally, midnight tones settle in, where diamonds flicker like distant stars against darkened skies, only to return again to sunrise. It is a chromatic meditation on the Earth’s perpetual revolution and the cyclical energy that sustains life.

As Katz explains, the series is rooted in the idea that Earth’s energy originates in the sun, visible in the shifting colors of the sky as seasons change and days unfold. Within each sphere, those transitions are immortalized in precious stones.

The result is a subtle yet profound equilibrium: cosmic force rendered intimate; monumental philosophy translated into wearable art.

A Dialogue Between Bronze and Brilliance

For more than three decades, Martin Katz has been synonymous with red-carpet glamour and museum-quality craftsmanship. Known for his refined aesthetic and exceptional gemstones, his designs often echo the elegance of the Art Deco era while remaining unmistakably contemporary. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted, signed, and produced as a unique work or limited edition.

In October 2025, Katz was invited to participate in the inaugural Grand Prix de la Haute Joaillerie in Monaco, the only independent American designer selected among eleven of the world’s most prestigious high jewelry maisons. His creations continue to grace international red carpets, including this year’s Golden Globes, where Jessie Buckley paired her custom Dior gown with Katz’s Desert Diamonds.

Yet Energia della Vita reveals another dimension of his creative universe, one less about spectacle and more about philosophical resonance.

Andrea Roggi, internationally celebrated for his emblematic Tree of Life sculptures, has spent five decades exploring the invisible forces that bind humanity to nature. His retrospective at Galeries Bartoux traces that journey through paintings, drawings, and sculptures, accompanied by archival materials that illuminate the evolution of his practice.

Within this context, Katz’s jeweled spheres become more than ornament. They are extensions of Roggi’s sculptural language, artfully designed in relief to represent Mother Earth, embodying the energy source that animates the larger bronze forms. Precious stones become light made tangible, continuing the sculpture’s narrative in miniature.

Exclusively in Paris

Available only during the exhibition period (February 13–March 8, 2026), the limited-edition Energia della Vita series exists as both a collectible jewel and a sculptural statement. It is a rare opportunity to acquire a piece born of two distinct artistic disciplines, united by a shared meditation on life, light, and continuity.

In the heart of Paris, where history and modernity perpetually intersect, Energia della Vita stands as a reminder that true luxury is meaning, distilled into form.
