Lovers of all things bejeweled have fashion news headed their way that is sure to pull them right out of any sort of autumn gloom. A new exhibit featuring vintage jewelry pieces by Fulco di Verdura and Suzanne Belperron is officially open at Verdura’s headquarters in New York City until November 9.

Need an extra pick-me-up? Then you’ll be delighted to know that these antique jewels aren’t just on display— they’re for sale, too. And this isn’t any old collection of jewelry— some of the pieces, which date from the Forties to the Seventies and include original sketches, come from the personal collections of historical influencers on the fashion world like Dorothy Hirshon Paley, Millicent Rogers, and Bernice McIlhenny Wintersteen.
