There’s no denying that Jared Leto is the man of the moment. He’s an Oscar winner, a rockstar and a style icon—plus, let’s be honest, that hair is always on fleek. And now he can add Gucci model to his resume. Creative Director Alessandro Michele has just hand-picked the star to be the new face of the Gucci Guilty men’s fragrance. He joins the ranks of super-hunks like Chris Evans and James Franco who have both helmed their own Gucci cologne campaigns.
The announcement was made via the brand’s Snapchat this morning, and over the next few days Leto will be taking over their account to give followers behind-the-scenes clips of the upcoming shoot. The campaign will be filmed in Venice, Italy with direction by Michele who has been transforming the look of Gucci for the better since he was promoted to creative director earlier this year. We’ll have to wait until next year to see what the designer and star have in store for us, but if Leto’s It-factor is any indication of what to expect, then we’re in store for something stellar.
