As the global leader in luxury private aviation, Flexjet entered into an agreement with Gulfstream for exclusivity as the only fractional provider to receive delivery of new Gulfstream G500 and G700 aircraft. Today, this luxury aviation brand flies the largest owned, operated and maintained Gulfstream fleet in the world.
Flexjet Chairman Kenn Ricci, a Gulfstream pilot himself, sought to strategically diversify the fleet beyond its original Bombardier aircraft. In 2014, he placed a landmark order with Gulfstream, reshaping the company’s trajectory. Beyond their striking ramp presence, Gulfstream jets offer exceptional international range, significantly expanding global access for fractional owners.
Last year when Flexjet introduced its ultra-long range Gulfstream G700, it expanded Flexjet’s prestigious Gulfstream fleet. Now they offer four types of jets, the G700, G650, G500 and G450. The G500 will gradually replace the G450s and will serve as the large cabin aircraft type going forward.
Built on an all-new aerodynamic platform and powered by Pratt & Whitney PW800-series engines, this new Gulfstream G500 delivers a compelling combination of performance and efficiency.
The aircraft offers a range of approximately 5,200 nautical miles and can cruise at speeds up to Mach 0.90, nearly the speed of sound. This capability enables nonstop intercontinental travel, such as New York to London. In addition to flying farther and faster, the sleek modernized G500 is 33% more fuel-efficient. This jet is able to fly nearly 1,000 nautical miles farther on the same fuel load.
Operating as part of Flexjet’s celebrated Red Label by Flexjet program, this delivers recurring refinement to fractional owners. Touted as the industry’s highest levels of personalization and service, ‘Red Label’ offers access to the world’s most modern fractional jet fleet.
