Taking place November 6-8, the 4th Annual Caribbean Food & Wine Festival is coming up fast. The weekend-long event is being held by Grace Bay Resorts, in partnership with the Turks and Caicos Tourist Board and The Wine Cellar. It also includes all-star chefs (like Top Chef contestant Chef Leah Cohen from New York's Pig & Khao) and renowned vinters from all over the world. Considering the festival always sells out, you should look into getting tickets now.

“We are thrilled to welcome guests to the fourth annual festival. This year’s prestigious group of winemakers and chefs reflects the Caribbean Food & Wine Festival’s increasing prominence on an international level, and is a testament to the Turks and Caicos Islands as an epicurean destination in their own right,” says Nikheel Advani, Co-Chair, Caribbean Food & Wine Festival. “Year after year, the boutique nature of the festival allows chefs and winemakers from around the world to come together with locals for completely unique culinary experiences, with idyllic Turks & Caicos as the backdrop.  It truly is unlike any other culinary experience available.”

The event will kick off on Thursday with a starlit Welcome Dinner at Blue Haven Resort's Fire & Ice restaurant ($125), where guests (typically it attracts over 100 people) will enjoy a five-course meal with select wine pairings. Friday's biggest event is the Gourmet Safari dinner party ($250) that will lead you around the Providenciales. In its eighth year, the dine-around party gives you the chance to check out local favorites and offers fun cocktails at Krave courtesy of Grace Bay Club, an appetizer course at Coyaba, dinner at Seven Stars and The Regent Palms, and finally dessert at The Gansevoort.

Saturday is for anyone interested in learning more about wine pairings, offerings seminars that highlight meat, seafood, cheese, and desserts. Each tasting room has its own guest chef and winemaker. Following the Food & Wine Pairing is the third annual Island Street Food Fair that focuses on grilling and barbeque tips from the island's local talent. Finally, Saturday concludes with Dinner with the Stars ($125), which is an intimate five-course dinner that is served on Grace Bay Beach. The guest chefs will be pairing prized recipes with the winemakers' rarest vintages, creating a 70-person dinner that sells out every year.

If you're interested in doing everything, you can purchase a package for $399.
