Meat Market Boca Raton Serves Up Top Steaks In A Swanky Atmosphere

It’s always nice to see a familiar face in town, especially when it’s a top steakhouse making another stylish debut.

Over the fall, Meat Market’s swanky Miami eatery opened its newest buzzy location in Boca Raton. The haute spot tucked away at the newly renovated Renaissance Boca Raton Hotel is the latest location to join its siblings in Tampa, Palm Beach, and San Juan.

From the moment you arrive, you know you are somewhere special. An enormous outdoor patio is the place to see and be seen for Happy Hour where specialty cocktails and sangria pitchers are served up daily here from 3 to 6 p.m. (Elevated bites like gouda tater tots and roasted escargot are also available daily from 4 to 6 p.m.).

Friendly servers start guests off with a sampling of their addicting spiced Peruvian corn. Pair it up with one of their creative cocktails like a signature Mai Tai, Watermelon Breeze, or Fresca Pepino or stick with tradition and opt for a classic martini.

Meat Market has a nice raw bar that features a daily selection of oysters on the half shell and jumbo (and we do mean enormous) shrimp cocktail served with a side of tangy red remoulade kicked up with some fresh horseradish.

Their standout starter was the crunchy Wagyu beef dumplings with charred kimchee cabbage and brown miso aioli that arrived almost too pretty to eat. Other featured appetizers include BBQ Wagyu beef ribs, prime roasted bone marrow, a slider duo, roasted cauliflower, and wood-grilled artichoke.

Meat Market Boca Raton also offers an impressive collection of market sushi, including an Imperial Roll filled with fresh salmon and tuna, and a Nigiri Platter. For the ultimate indulgence, try the A-5 Wagyu king roll with seared A-5 Wagyu tenderloin, miso roasted crab, asparagus, garlic cream cheese, black truffle caviar, and truffle yaki sauce.

Moving right along, their sliced tomato, onion, and blue cheese salad harkens back old-school vibes when steakhouses featured clubby atmospheres and serious servers. It’s featured as a side dish but can also be ordered as a side salad and is large enough to share between two guests.

Be sure to save room for what you came here for: their mouthwatering steaks. Signature steaks include an uber tender filet mignon and melt-in-your-mouth Prime New York strip. Reserve cuts feature a 7-ounce Wagyu filet mignon, 32-ounce Wagyu beef Tomahawk ribeye, and a 32-ounce Kosher ribeye.

Steaks here are served a la carte, so be sure to try some specialty side dishes designed for sharing. Wood-grilled broccolini is taken to a new level with Romesco sauce; onion rings are accompanied by jalapeno ranch for dipping; and crispy Brussels sprouts are made even better with bacon, almonds, and pickled red onion.

Every kind of sauce imaginable is available to enhance your steak – from traditional Bernaise or peppercorn cognac to wild mushroom and truffle and even a decadent bleu and Boursin butter.

If you can save room for dessert, their Oreo cheesecake paired up with an espresso martini provides the perfect end to a memorable dining experience.

Meat Market is located at 2000 NW 19th Street in Boca Raton, Florida.
