Arborum, a revolutionary Napa winery with a heart for giving back, has launched “Arborum Adventures: Get Out, Give Back”—an exclusive series of wellness experiences that go far beyond the usual wine tasting. Picture yourself kayaking the serene waters of Tomales Bay, hiking the towering redwoods of Muir Woods, or finding inner peace with vineyard-view yoga, all while supporting vital charitable organizations and, afterward, enjoying Arborum’s high-end Proprietary White and Proprietary Red wines.

The Arborum adventure began in the fall of 2024 when founders Caren and Nick Orum unveiled their debut wine releases. Alongside the launch, they made an extraordinary pledge: $1 million to support Napa Valley vineyard workers and their families and environmental conservation efforts. Moving forward, 100% of the net earnings from Arborum wines—crafted by legendary winemaker Andy Erickson—will be dedicated to these causes. Now, the Orums are taking their charitable mission to the next level with “Arborum Adventures: Get Out, Give Back,” where every dollar spent on these curated wine excursions will directly benefit impactful organizations.

Inspired by their love for nature, adventure, and wellness, the Orums designed “Arborum Adventures” to offer truly unique experiences. Nick is an avid cyclist, and Caren is a dedicated trail runner and yogi. Together, they’ve crafted experiences set against three of the Bay Area’s most breathtaking landscapes, inviting wine lovers to step outside the typical tasting room. The experiences can be customized to suit any group’s fitness level and goals.
Choose from a private guided kayaking tour of Tomales Bay, where you’ll glide through peaceful waters before enjoying lunch at the iconic Nick’s Cove, paired with Arborum wines. This adventure supports the Point Reyes National Seashore Association. Or, embark on a hike through the majestic Muir Woods with a naturalist from Save the Redwoods, followed by a relaxing lunch on the deck of the Orums' 1891 Mill Valley home, complete with Arborum wines. In Napa Valley, where the Orums have called home since 1999, guests can select from a vineyard-view yoga session with Caren or a scenic cycling tour through wine country with Nick—both experiences include a delicious lunch and wine pairings, all in support of the Napa Valley Farmworker Foundation.

“Arborum Adventures: Get Out, Give Back” is available from April to November, weather permitting. To book an unforgettable experience, reach out to Arborum at wine@arborum.com or call 707.307.5698.

The Orums purchased their Napa Valley property in 2013, and since then, their estate has become a symbol of sustainability and charitable commitment. Erickson crafts three exceptional wines for Arborum: a Proprietary Red: a rich blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from Arborum’s certified organic Hidden Key vineyard, with a touch of Cabernet Franc from Pritchard Hill; a Proprietary White: a vibrant blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Musqué, and Semillon from Coombsville; and a estate Cabernet Sauvignon from the 2023 vintage, which will debut in 2026. Nestled within a 20-acre estate featuring organic vineyards, an olive orchard, and a 1930s-era hunting lodge surrounded by towering conifers, the Orum home is a true sanctuary.
With every wine release, the Orums continue to dedicate 100% of their net earnings to worthy causes, including their $1 million commitment to local and environmental charities for the 2024 launch.
