Lillet, the French aperitif wine produced in Podensac, a small village south of Bordeaux, has partnered with the hit Netflix series Emily In Paris to unveil two limited-edition bottles, just in time for season four! Known for its high-quality and sophisticated aperitifs that balance the sweetness of wine with the bitterness of citrus and quinine, Lillet has a long and celebrated history that dates to 1872. The brand is known for its versatility in cocktails, being a favorite ingredient in many classic and modern recipes.
These exclusive Lillet bottles are an ode to Emily’s unabashed love of both France and fashion, featuring labels of couture-inspired illustrations depicting the signature Lillet woman in très chic Parisian outfits. The iconic Emily In Paris logo is also featured. The illustrations hypothetically pull from Emily’s closet, and reveal a daytime look for Lillet Blanc, and a classically elegant “Emily by night” look for the Lillet Rosé edition.
The pale golden Lillet Blanc is light and slightly sweet with flavors of honey, candied orange, and fresh mint. It also has a hint of herbs and spices. It is often served chilled, over ice with a slice of orange or lemon, or used in cocktails like the Vesper Martini. The light pink Lillet Rosé is fruity and floral with notes of ripe berries, orange blossom, and grapefruit. It is typically enjoyed on its own with a slice of grapefruit or in various cocktails.
The Lillet Emily In Paris limited-edition bottles will be available in the US starting August 1 (SRP: $23.99) and will also launch in global markets including Germany, Austria, Denmark, the UK, Switzerland, Belgium, The Netherlands, China, South Korea, and Brazil.
In celebration, Maison Lillet has created two refreshing cocktails in honor of the partnership. An elevated twist on the classic Lillet Spritz, the “Emily Lillet Royale” is the perfect summer sip to enjoy while watching season four with friends.
